Walthamstow Toy Library & Play Centre provides safe, creative spaces for families and children to play, learn and interact. We are rooted in the local community and have a strong social and environmental impact, helping families in need, running popular play sessions for the under 5s and loaning a wide variety of toys and equipment which don’t cost the Earth. We have two sites in Waltham Forest: William Morris Hall in Walthamstow and Langthorne Park Pavilion in South Leytonstone. Both sites run play sessions, toy libraries and clothes “swap shops”. William Morris Hall also has a specialist SEND toy library, sensory play room and an adventure playground.
We are seeking an inspiring and values-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead us through our next phase of development. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the CEO will provide strategic leadership, ensure financial sustainability, lead a dedicated staff and volunteer team, and champion the organisation across the local community and wider sector. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a much-loved local charity that supports children and families through the power of play.
