KCLSU is excited to be recruiting two members of student staff to work in our wellbeing team, as Senior Buddy Scheme Mentors! Please note that there is a limited pool of students who are eligible for this role, as applicants must have been a Buddy Scheme Mentor previously.

The KCLSU wellbeing team contributes to two of KCLSU's strategic themes: equipping students to lead, and developing communities for all students. Part of this is our KCLSU Buddy Scheme which connects first and second-year students from all levels of study with higher year or higher-level students who share an identity that is important to them.

As a Senior Buddy Scheme Mentor, it is your role to:

Work in a team to plan and deliver social events for the Buddy Scheme.

Assist in our embedding of peer support into new student experience.

Work to reach underserved students across KCL.

To be eligible to apply for this role you must:

• Be eligible to work in the UK, and provide proof of this (i.e. a passport/visa) when asked by KCLSU
• Be an enrolled or incoming student at King's College London. 
• Have a National Insurance number, or be in the process of applying for one
• Not be a trustee of King’s College London Students’ Union. Ex-Trustees can apply for student staff (non-administrative) roles, as soon as they finish their tenure.
• Have been a Buddy Scheme Mentor at KCLSU, previously.
