Parent Befriender

Are you warm, patient, and a great listener? NDAS is looking for volunteer Family Befrienders to spend time with parents and carers staying in our refuges – chatting, playing with their children, and encouraging the whole family to get out and about to local groups, parks, and activities.

Your time and companionship can make a real difference, helping parents build confidence and reconnect with their community. No formal experience needed – full training given, though experience with families or childcare is a bonus.
