Help families build healthier, happier futures.

Are you passionate about supporting children and families? Do you believe every child deserves the best possible start in life?

HENRY is a national charity dedicated to giving babies and children the foundations for a healthy future. We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Facilitator to join our Croydon team and help deliver life-changing programmes that empower parents and carers of children aged 0-12 years.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in your local community while working within a supportive and values-driven organisation.

About the role

As a Facilitator, you'll:

  • Deliver HENRY Healthy Families programmes and workshops, both face-to-face and online
  • Support parents and carers to develop healthy eating, activity and wellbeing habits for their children
  • Engage and build relationships with families from a wide range of backgrounds
  • Work closely with community partners and local services to reach families who can benefit most
  • Collect and record feedback and outcomes to help demonstrate impact and improve services

The role is based across the London Borough of Croydon, with regular travel to community venues and a combination of home and office working from our New Addington base.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children, parents or families
  • Enjoys facilitating groups and building positive relationships
  • Has a warm, empathetic and non-judgemental approach
  • Is passionate about supporting healthier lifestyles and reducing inequalities
  • Works collaboratively and values partnership working
  • Is committed to safeguarding, inclusion and delivering high-quality services

What we offer

  • Fixed-term contract until 30 June 2028
  • 0.8 FTE (30 hours per week) or 0.6 FTE (22.5 hours per week)
  • £23,088 per annum (0.8 FTE) or £17,316 per annum (0.6 FTE), based on a full-time salary of £28,860
  • Hybrid working
  • 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata)
  • Up to 6% matched pension contribution
  • Enhanced family-friendly policies
  • Two learning and development/volunteer days per year
