About this role

Downright Excellent is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) to join our expert freelance team, supporting children and young people with Down syndrome.

About the Role

You will work with school-aged children with Down syndrome as part of our multidisciplinary team, delivering engaging and evidence-informed speech and language support.

A central part of the role is leading structured small group provision. Sessions are primarily delivered face-to-face on Saturdays (term time only), with potential for additional online sessions during the week after school.

We welcome flexible working arrangements and are open to job share options (e.g. one practitioner leading in-person delivery and another supporting online sessions).

Key Details

· Additional work: Optional online sessions during weekdays

· Pay: £200–£250 per day (dependent on experience)

Additional relevant training (e.g. Symbol UK / Symbol Connect, or similar specialist approaches) would be highly beneficial.

Why Join Downright Excellent?
