Casual Football Activity Leader

Are you passionate about football and inspiring young people? YMCA Newark and Sherwood is looking for enthusiastic Casual Football Activities Leaders to plan and deliver fun, engaging and inclusive football sessions for children and young people aged 5 to 17.

About the Role

You will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality football sessions for a range of ages and abilities.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all participants.
• Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal development.
• Act as a positive role model for children and young people.
• Ensure all sessions are delivered in line with safeguarding, health and safety, and FA standards.
• Provide feedback and support to help participants develop their skills and confidence.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Experience planning and delivering football coaching sessions.
• Experience working with children and young people.
• FA Level 1 Football Coaching Qualification (or equivalent recognised qualification).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A friendly, enthusiastic, and approachable attitude.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
