ABOUT THE ROLE

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £13.45 per hour, rising from year two

Reports to: House Leader/Depute House Leader

Place of work: L’Arche Highland’s services are currently based in and around Inverness.

Contract type: Permanent, Full-time

Main purpose of the role:

• As a Care and Support Worker, you will help people with learning disabilities live more independently and enjoy everyday life - empowering each person to make their own choices and live the life they want. 
• You will support people with learning disabilities with any spiritual choices they make, join them in activities they enjoy, and provide help both at home and out in the community. 
• This may include accompanying them to appointments, events, or places of worship. This is a truly rewarding role that makes a real difference and gives you a deeper appreciation for life.
