KCLSU is excited to be recruiting a member of student staff to work as a Photo Assistant in our Communications, Marketing and Insight (CMI) team!

We’re looking for a creative and reliable Photo Assistant to capture and edit high-quality photography for use across KCLSU’s digital channels, website, marketing materials, and print. This flexible, part-time role is ideal for students and allows you to build your portfolio while fitting around your academic commitments. You’ll play a key role in showcasing student life, by photographing KCLSU’s events, campaigns, societies, sports clubs and other exciting moments throughout the year.

These photos should best demonstrate your skills, and reflect the type of content produced by KCLSU - we're particularly interested in seeing examples featuring people, events, sports, food and drink, products, or student life. Your portfolio should demonstrate your ability to produce high-quality, engaging imagery suitable for use across digital and print marketing materials. If you don't have existing work that closely matches this style, you're welcome to create new content specifically for this application. 

To be eligible to apply for this role you must:

• Be eligible to work in the UK, and provide proof of this (i.e. a passport/visa) when asked by KCLSU
• Be an incoming or enrolled KCL student
• Have a National Insurance number, or be in the process of applying for one
• Not be a trustee of King’s College London Students’ Union. Ex-Trustees can apply for student staff (non-administrative) roles, as soon as they finish their tenure.
