Maintenance Operative
South of Norwich
Full-time permanent contract - 40 hrs per week. Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4pm.
Salary range: £22,568.00 (age 18-20) to £26,436.80 (age 21 and over).
We are seeking an experienced, all-round general building maintenance person looking to take on this vital role as part of the team responsible for keeping all departments on all our farms safe for our equines, staff and the public.

What will you do?
- Undertake a variety of grounds care and maintenance tasks within the sanctuary, to enable the smooth running of all departments and ensure that they are carried out in a cost effective and professional manner that reflects the charitable nature of our organisation.
- Support the farm teams with scheduled duties involving using agricultural machinery (not working directly with the horses).
- Ensure that all owned vehicles and plant are kept in a safe and roadworthy condition and that the appropriate administrative requirements are adhered to.

What are we looking for from you?
- Knowledge of general grounds care and building maintenance.
- Good communication skills and basic IT literacy
- Knowledge of safe working practices and ability to consider best practice and methods of working.
