Learning & Development Business Partner
We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Learning & Development Business Partner to join our HR team. This is an exciting opportunity to influence our learning approach and further develop a culture of continuous learning across mhs homes.
What you'll be doing
As our Learning & Development Business Partner, you'll work closely with managers, stakeholders and colleagues across the business to identify learning needs and collaborate on impactful development solutions.
You'll play a key role in:
- Partnering with leaders and teams to identify organisational, team and individual development needs
- Delivering our HR induction, License to Manage programme and other learning initiatives
- Supporting managers to build their people management and leadership capability
- Managing and enhancing our Learning Management System (LMS)
- Developing and maintaining learning programmes that support current and future workforce needs
- Measuring and evaluating learning effectiveness to demonstrate impact and value
- Championing a culture of continuous professional development and self-directed learning
- Building strong relationships across the organisation and with external learning partners
What we're looking for
We're seeking someone who combines learning expertise with strong relationship-building skills and a genuine passion for developing people.
You'll bring:
- Experience in a Learning & Development, Organisational Development or HR Development role
- Strong knowledge of learning approaches that drive performance and behavioural change
- The ability to identify development needs and turn them into practical, effective learning solutions
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- The confidence to influence, challenge constructively and build credibility at all levels
- Experience of evaluating learning activity and using data to improve outcomes
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Qualifications
- You must have CIPD Level 5 in Learning & Development or Human Resources or currently working towards
- Commitment to continuing professional development, including working towards CIPD Level 7
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience of leadership and management development programmes
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and learning technologies
- Understanding of talent management, succession planning and job shadowing frameworks
